报告题目:Oblivious Quantum Computation and Delegated Multiparty Quantum Computation

主讲人:Masahito Hayashi首席科学家

报告时间:1114日(星期10:00-11:00

主讲人介绍:

Masahito Hayashi was born in Japan in 1971.He received the B.S. degree from the Faculty of Sciences in Kyoto University, Japan, in 1994 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from Kyoto University, Japan, in 1996 and 1999, respectively. In 2011, he received Information Theory Society Paper Award (2011) for ``Information-Spectrum Approach to Second-Order Coding Rate in Channel Coding''.In 2016, he received the Japan Academy Medal from the Japan Academy and the JSPS Prize from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
He is IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Fellow, IMS (Institute of Mathematical Statistics) Fellow, and AAIA (the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association) Fellow.
In 2006, he published the book ``Quantum Information: An Introduction''  from Springer, whose revised version was published as Quantum Information Theory: Mathematical Foundation'' from Graduate Texts in Physics, Springer in 2016. In 2016, he published other two books ``Group Representation for Quantum Theory'' and ``A Group Theoretic Approach to Quantum Information'' from Springer. He is on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Quantum Information.
His research interests include classical and quantum information theory and classical and quantum statistical inference.

报告内容摘要:

We propose a new concept, oblivious quantum computation, which requires perform oblivious transfer to send the computation outcome of the quantum computation, where the secrecy of the input qubits and the program to identify the quantum gates is required. We propose a two-server protocol for this task, which realizes an exponential improvement for the communication complexity over the simple application of two-server (quantum) oblivious transfer to the sending of the computation result. Also, we propose another new concept, delegated multiparty quantum computation, in which, several users ask multiparty quantum computation to server(s) only using classical communications. We propose a two-server protocol for this task.
